The service requested by the Municipality included the preparation of an industrial plan for the waste collection and urban hygiene service; a spreadsheet containing the dimensioning of the services and the cost analysis relating to the waste collection and urban hygiene service, at the basis of the Business Plan; a Special Tender Specification for the urban solid waste collection and urban hygiene service.

Performed activities:
The Ambiente Italia working group has prepared all the technical-legal documents listed above, which form the basis of the procedure for awarding waste collection and urban hygiene services in the Municipality of Marano di Napoli.
The organizational project of the services based on the tender primarily assumed prevention activities as an integral part of waste management activities, requiring the preparation of a specific Prevention Plan, on the basis of criteria and actions defined by the Industrial Plan. Secondly, the Plan, while moving on the same principles envisaged by the previous plans, has assumed even more ambitious separate waste collection targets (equal to 70%), thanks in particular to:
- extension of the "door to door" collection model for all the main fractions of waste;
- opening of the new Municipal Collection Centre, as a fundamental support tool for differentiated waste collection.
