What is SECAP?
The Sustainable Energy Action Plan is a document introduced by Covenant of Mayors, a network of European cities launched in 2008 by the European Commission which brings together local administrations willing to engage in fight against climate change. The document, drawn up on a voluntary basis, is made up of several sections, including: an analysis of the territorial context, the reconstruction of energy balances and emission inventories, the assessment of risks and vulnerabilities and the identification of potential interventions .

Why is the SECAP needed by your municipality?
The drafting of the Plan can bring several advantages e opportunity. The analyzes carried out are the starting point for the construction of strategies decarbonization e energy transition. During the drafting procedures, Ambiente Italia can support your administration in identifying the incentives which can support the implementation of interventions (such as the Thermal Account and Energy Efficiency Certificates, TEE).
They can also be disbursed ftechnical information aimed at strengthening the energy skills of the Administrations and raising awareness in the area. Lastly, being part of the Covenant of Mayors network is a commitment that clearly and authoritatively communicates the guidelines of the local policies to be followed.
