Alessandro de Carli

Having graduated in Environmental and Land Management Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1999, he conducts research and consulting in the field of economic assessments applied to water resources, water services, and climate change adaptation, aiming to combine territorial development and environmental protection. He has been collaborating with Ambiente Italia since 2025.

He was a Research Fellow at several research centers at Bocconi University from 2000 to 2025. He was also a Research Fellow at the Department of Economics and Statistics at the University of Udine from 2003 to 2013. He was the director of the Aqualab Foundation, a multidisciplinary research center on water resources management, from 2016 to 2021. It's He was the coordinator of the Master in Green Management, Energy and Corporate Social Responsibility (MaGER) at Bocconi University from 2009 to 2013.
A founding member of the Association of Environmental and Land Engineers (AIAT), he served on its board of directors for 18 years. He is currently the Secretary Councillor of the Milan Order of Engineers for the 2022-2025 term.
