Duccio Bianchi
Graduated from the University of Florence with a thesis on environmental policies. Since 1984 consultant and researcher in environmental planning, waste management, life cycle analysis. He has been a member of national environmental commissions (including the National Ecolabel and Ecoaudit Committee and the Renewable Sources Observatory). He has coordinated the drafting of numerous studies and waste management plans on behalf of regions, provinces and territorial areas. He has collaborated with APAT and the National Waste Observatory for the annual reports on waste management and for specific studies on packaging, separate waste collection, the technical-economic analysis of management systems. He has carried out research on the environmental quality of processes, the application of clean technologies, the diffusion of LCA-Life Cycle Analysis in business decision-making processes and its implications for environmental policies. Founding partner of Ambiente Italia, of which he was Director and Chief Executive Officer until 2008. he He is the editor of the annual report Ambiente Italia and for many years he coordinated the drafting of the Urban Ecosystem report of Legambiente. He has published “Eco-efficient recycling” (Edizioni Ambiente, 2012).
