Mario Zambrini
Graduated in Agricultural Sciences in Milan in 1984, he has been carrying out consultancy and research on environmental issues since 1985. Founding partner of Ambiente Italia, from 2011 to 2026 he was the company's CEO and/or sole director.
A senior expert in environmental assessment procedures and techniques for plans, programs, and projects, he has coordinated numerous projects for Ambiente Italia in the fields of energy planning, environmental reporting, and impact assessment. He is a certified expert in environmental acoustics (ENTECA National List of Acoustic Technicians) and an Envision™ Sustainability Professional. He was a member of the Ministry of the Environment's Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Commission from 1997 to 2002 and subsequently of the EIA-SEA Technical Commission – SEA Subcommittee (2007). He lectures on university and master's courses and is the author of publications on environmental analysis and assessment. He was president of the Association of Environmental Analysts – AAA (2006-2012) and a member of the Steering Committee of Green Building Council Italia (2014-2023). He is currently a member of the scientific committee and board of directors of the Italian Association of Environmental Experts (ASSIEA).
