
Riccardo Battisti
Graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the University "La Sapienza", he has a PhD in Energy since 2003. From June 2005 to December 2007 he was Secretary General of the Italian Solar Thermal Association (Assolterm). He collaborated with the company Ecobilancio Italia Srl and the Istituto Sviluppo Sostenibile Italia (ISSI). Until 2007 he carried out research activities at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", while since 2008 he has been working with Ambiente Italia. Expert in solar thermal and photovoltaic energy, both for regulatory aspects and development policies and for technological aspects, he has coordinated and followed various European projects with numerous national and international partners, and has collaborated in the organization of the Solar Industry Conference (2009, 2010 and 2011 editions). He specialized in renewable energy sources (especially solar thermal and photovoltaic), energy saving and the assessment of the environmental impacts of products or services using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology.
