Teresa Freixo Santos
She graduated in Environmental Engineering, majoring in Environmental Impact Assessment, from Nova de Lisboa University in 1993. Since 2015, she has been Technical Director of Ambiente Italia. In 1995, she earned a two-year Master's degree in Energy and Environmental Economics from the Scuola Superiore Enrico Mattei – ENI. She is a member of the Order of Engineers of the Province of Milan, Section A – Civil and Environmental Sector (no. 35351) and of the Order of Engineers of Portugal, specializing in Environmental Engineering (no. 44550). She is a qualified technician in environmental acoustics (Regional Register of the Lombardy Region). Since 1997, she has worked at Ambiente Italia, where she focused on integrating environmental analyses into planning tools and, since 2000, on environmental analysis techniques and impact forecasting for plants and infrastructure.
Technical Director and Area Manager, coordinates the development and drafting of environmental impact studies, and technical consultancy in the authorization process for plants and infrastructure.
